Temple Run 2 for iOS

Temple Run 2 features many new changes

Temple Run 2 for the iOS platform made its way to the application market as Imangi Studios released the second installment of the game, which was downloaded more than 170 million times. There is no official word as to when the popular game would be available for Android and Windows Phone 8 platform, though some reports suggest that it will be available at Google Play by next week. Temple Run 2 is now available at the Apple iTunes store free of cost.

Reports suggest that Imangi Studios have bettered Temple Run 2 as the successor to Temple Run includes new organic environment, obstacles and graphics. The new release includes obstacles like mountains, valleys, rushing rivers and many more, when compared to flat surface of the first edition.

The introduction of the ability of the player to leap from impossible heights by sliding down a rope, reminding of Tarzan has been the most liked feature. Announcing the release of Temple Run 2, a statement from Imangi Studios read, “With over 170 million downloads since its 2011 release, Temple Run redefined mobile gaming. Now get more of the exhilarating running, jumping, turning and sliding you love in Temple Run 2.”

The changes in Temple Run 2 are mostly visual, which should satisfy the need of the players if the success of the first edition is considered. New characters and a new demon also features in the latest version of the game. Imangi Studios co-founder, Keith Shepherd, said, “It feels like a bigger, better, more awesome version of the first game.”

Temple Run 2 might have increased the difficulty level when compared to the first version, but the new features boost the players’ chances. To download Temple Run 2, you can visit the Apple store.
