Samsung finally released the jelly Bean update for Galaxy S3 in the UK

Samsung Galaxy S3 Jelly Bean update finally arrived in the UK yesterday. Galaxy S3 Jelly Bean update was popping all over Europe before arriving in the UK. Samsung had been receiving criticism from its users over the delay in the release of the update for the UK users.

Galaxy S3 Jelly Bean update was released in Italy, Switzerland and Ireland along with the UK. The Jelly Bean update for Galaxy S3 was released in France, Spain, Romania, Sweden and Austria after the update first surfaced in Poland and Korea. Hutchison Whampoa seems to be the largest company, which carried out the update on their carriers, H3G, Three and 3 in the European countries.

The recently released Galaxy S3 Jelly Bean update is not dated September 28 indicating that the South Korean giant has released a fresh build for the UK users. The fresher build is dated October 8 and carries the I9300XXDLJ1 signature rather than the previously released I9300XXDLIH.

Samsung Galaxy S3 users can get the Jelly Bean update via the Kies desktop software if the OTA prompt does not appear on the smartphone. Galaxy S3 users, who have grown impatient have utilised the leaked custom ROM’s on the web to update their smartphone, though the South Korean company has deemed that the leaked ROM was unreliable.

With the UK receiving the Galaxy S3 Jelly Bean update, US users can be hopeful that the OTA prompt appears on their smartphones sooner than the alleged November date.
