Battlefield 4 release date for Xbox 360 has been outed by Microsoft

Battlefield 4 (BF4) release date has been made public for Xbox 360 as October 29 through a blog post on, though EA and DICE have not confirmed the leaked information by Microsoft. Battlefield 4 trailer was released by its creators last week, thus increasing the hype related to the game. Rumours about a beta variant of BF4 have accompanied the news reports of the first-person shooter game.

Microsoft revealed the release date of Battlefield 4 for Xbox 360 as it posted the information. EA had given the release date of BF4 to be somewhere in fall leaving the exact date to the gaming community’s imagination as it released a 17-minute gameplay trailer of the game. The date apparently was leaked last Wednesday until it was noticed by gaming blogs.

The first-person shooter game from DICE will employ Frostbite 3 engine making the visual details discreet and commendable. The new engine will make the game closer to a real life experience. The pre-orders for the game have started as EA is offering a Premium expansion pack at no additional cost with a few tweaked conditions.

The next generation consoles have been creating headlines among the technological avenues, but Battlefield 4 has not yet been confirmed for PS4 and Xbox 720. Unveiling the game, Executive Vice President of EA Games, Patrick Soderlund said, “We are so humbled and proud to debut Battlefield 4 on a global stage with simultaneous events in San Francisco and Stockholm.”
