Sony Xperia J will be available for pre-orders in the UK by October end

The IFA 2012 triggered the launch of multiple smartphones across various leading manufacturers. Sony launched three mobile devices in its Xperia category, namely Xperia T, Xperia V and Xperia J.

Xperia J will be available for sales by October in the UK according to Clove. Clove, an online retailer in the UK has placed the Xperia J at a price of £191 including taxes.

The smartphone comprises of a single core Qualcomm MSM7227, system chip clocked at 1GHz, 512MB of RAM and a 4GB in-house storage. Xperia J also has a four-inch and 854 x 480 resolution display covered with Gorilla glass. The other specifications include a front camera, 1750mAh battery and a 5 mega pixel rear camera. Xperia J runs on Android 4.0 IceCream Sandwich and provides a two year warranty.

Xperia J is also radiant with the illuminated strip, also available in previous models of Xperia and also combines it with 50GB worth of cloud storage. The smartphone comes in white, black, gold and pink colours.

The other variant of the Xperia family Xperia T has been not made available officially to the public, but Clove has released the phone for pre-orders in UK. Xperia T is a more advanced version in the newly released Xperia variants including a 13MP camera.

With the release of three phones at a single event, IFA 2012, Sony is upping the ante for its competitors, Apple and Samsung.
