Samsung Galaxy S4 unveiling event has inspired the South Korean firm as the firm has invited the general public to watch the event at Times Square in New York. The firm is upbeat about the announcement of the successor of Galaxy S3 as it sent out an invite to the general public via Twitter. The invite reads, ‘Be the first in the world to experience it’ along with ‘Be Ready 4 the next Galaxy’.
It is expected that people will watch the live streaming of the event on the famous big screens at Times Square. Samsung is reported to unveil the Galaxy S4 on March 14 at Radio City Music hall. Samsung seems to have borrowed some traits of Apple by hinting the launch of S4 device using the number ’4′ in the invite.
Rumours about Galaxy S4 specs, price and design have been running wild in the technological market for a long time, come March 14, the speculations will be laid to rest by the South Korean firm. Samsung is reportedly planning to bring many new features to its smartphone, which includes advanced mobile payments, increased security with Knox and much more.
Samsung inked a deal with Visa, thus making it possible to house an application from Visa, which helps in payments through mobile. The South Korean company is also rumoured to introduce Samsung Orb, which will work in a similar way to the Photo Sphere allowing the users to capture images in in a 360-degree panorama mode.
The rumours about the specs of the next smartphone from Samsung include an eight-core Exynos processor, a separate eight-core graphics processing unit, a 4.99-inch SuperAmoled display, 2GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel rear camera with 1080p video capability, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and the latest version of Android, known as 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
