Samsung seems to be leaving no stone unturned with the release of Galaxy S4

Samsung Galaxy S4 specs release confirmed most of the rumours circulating in the market about the new smartphone from the South Korean company, but new reports speculate that some new features have not been disclosed yet. Apparently, Samsung is looking to introduce an eye-tracking feature in Galaxy S4.

The eye-tracking feature will provide a touch-free scrolling mechanism on Samsung Galaxy S4. The new smartphone from the firm might comprise of an attribute, which tracks a user’s eyes to determine where and when to scroll. Samsung is reported to have registered for a trademark in Europe for the name ‘Eye Scroll’ in January and filed for the ‘Samsung Eye Scroll’ in February.

The South Korean firm had stated that the software features might outweigh the hardware features in Galaxy S4. With most of the rumours turning out to be true, users would be hoping that this news also follows the same path. Rumour mills have been churning out many speculations about the next smartphone from Samsung.

Samsung Galaxy S4 will reportedly feature a 4.99-inch full HD display with resolution measuring 1920 x 1080 pixels. The device is expected to run on the latest version of Google’s mobile operating system, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. S4 will also include a 13 MP rear camera and a 2.1 MP front camera with the capability of recording 1080p video.

With reports about Apple planning to introduce finger-print sensors in its new iPhone devices, Samsung will be looking to up the ante with Galaxy S4. The S4 is reported to be announced at an event in New York on March 14.
