Samsung Galaxy Note II will be available for sales in the UK for pre-orders in mid-October. The news was announced at the global conference of IFA, 2012.
The 5.5-inch Samsung Note II, listed in the category of phone and tablet will be priced at from £546 including tax for the 16GB model, according to the e-commerce web site Clove.
Clove reports that primarily only the 16GB model will be available for pre-order. Samsung Galaxy Note II arrives in the market with six variants on display.
The storage options include the regular variety, 16GB, 32 GB and 64GB whereas the colours offered are Marble White and Titanium Grey. The device is more elegant than its predecessor with delicate curves and a slightly lengthy casing that houses a thicker, longer pen with a novel rubber tip for enhanced sketching and writing.
The accessories for Galaxy Note II are more colourful than the previous versions; they were displayed at the IFA. The accessories include pouches, flip covers, protective covers and much more.
Galaxy Note II comprises of a 1.6Ghz quadcore Exynos 4412 processor combined with 2GB RAM and the advanced Android 4.1 Jelly Bean version. It runs on a 3100 mAh battery and is equipped with WiFi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth Smart 4.0, along with a rear 8 mega pixel camera.
Samsung Galaxy Note II is ladened with the company’s own TouchWiz interface and various pen-enabled applications.
Samsung confirmed that Galaxy Note II will be available in the US later in 2012.
