Apple iPhone 5 might have released with huge fanfare, but the after-effects have not been pleasant. There have been various problems regarding the features of iPhone 5 including the failure of Apple maps application. Apple was flooded with complaints about a purple haze in the photographs taken by the camera of iPhone 5.
Apple has not officially cleared the problem iPhone 5 users are facing, but Gizmodo posted a reply from an AppleCare support representative stating that it was the angle at which the photograph was taken which was causing the problem. A purple color is showing up on the edges of photos taken through iPhone 5.
The representative was reported replying in an e-mail as, “Our engineering team just gave me this information and we recommend that you angle the camera away from the bright light source when taking pictures. The purple flare in the image provided is considered normal behaviour for the iPhone 5′s camera.”
iPhone 5 has been facing criticism from various technological avenues in different arenas. Apple iPhone 5 also faced problems regarding Wi-Fi connectivity. Apple released a fix for the bug that allowed some devices on Verizon Wireless network to deplete the consumer’s precious minutes.
Apple iPhone 5 also came under the scanner for reduced battery life, scrapes and scratches around the edge, static lines on the keyboard when typing in your password and light leaks behind the front display. The purple halo problem of the iPhone 5 camera has not been officially addressed by the California company yet. With iPhone 5 facing loads of problems, Apple will have to quickly look for answers.
