Will the successor of iPhone 5 have a 5-inch screen?

iPhone 5S leaked images suggest that Apple might be looking to increase the size of the display with the successor of iPhone 5. The images released by a Chinese website display the manufacturing of the next smartphone offering from the California giant at the Foxconn factory. There have been many rumours about the next smartphone from Apple.

A report from a Chinese media avenue states that Apple is slated to release an iPhone 5S and iPhone 6 this year with 5S being a minor upgrade and iPhone 6 featuring a 5-inch screen. Foxconn has been the original manufacturer of every iPhone and iPad till date. The authenticity of the pictures cannot be confirmed yet.

Many news reports suggest that the leaked images of the iPhone 5S could be cheap iPhone knockoffs. The leaked images show iPhone 5S in its various stages of production with a close-up of the display of the smartphone. Some images also show factory workers relaxing during the manufacturing process.

iPhone 5S was rumoured to release in Q2 this year, but new reports claim that the device might make its way to the market in Q3 this year. Earlier, developers had found code relating to the next smartphone from Apple in the application logs. iPhone 5S was also rumoured to feature Touch On technology and Gorilla Glass 3.
