Will Apple unveil iPhone 5S and iPad 5 on June 29?

iPhone 5S and iPad 5 might make their way to the light as Apple plans to unveil its next line of devices at a special event on ‘Original Passion, New Ideas’ on June 29, 2013 according to a report published by a tech blog, Gizmorati. The California giant is celebrating seven years since the launch of the first iPhone on June 29, 2007.

Rumours about Apple developing an iPhone 5S and a cheaper iPhone have been circulating among many technological avenues since a long time. iPad 5 has also been among the speculations surrounding the new devices from Apple after Tim Cook promised something new. The event is apparently being held to reassure consumers and shareholders about the resolve of the firm.

Apple is reportedly planning a new feature for its next smartphone, which will overhaul the existing attributes of the existing rival smartphones. With Samsung launching Galaxy S4 with aplomb and also introducing new features, the iPhone manufacturing firm has to come out with something really special.

The California giant is apparently working on the new iPad mini if reports are to be believed. The new iPad mini is expected around the third quarter of this year and Apple is planning to ship 55 million iPad mini units in calendar 2013. iPhone 5S is rumoured to bring the fingerprint unlocking screen technology to the consumers.(Could this be the new thing?)

iPhone 5S is also speculated to feature a high-definition display along with a 13 MP rear camera. The new iPhone is also rumoured to sport a new aluminium finish with support for wireless charging. What do you want in the iPhone 5S?
