HTC M7 is rumoured to release on February 19 at a London event, which is nine days ahead of its previous speculated launch date at the Mobile World Congress(MWC) 2013. The news was relayed by a source, who claims to have expertise in the field through extensive research and contacts in high places. Reports about HTC M7 features have been leaked since the last week increasing the anticipation for the launch.
The news about the release of HTC M7 at the firm’s own press review was revealed on Twitter by mobile phone reviewer and web marketing specialist, who uses the handle, Flavio. HTC has been on a release spree in the 5-inch market as it earlier released two 5-inch smartphones, HTC Butterfly for Japanese markets and HTC Droid DNA for US markets.
MWC 2013 is scheduled to take place towards the end of February from the 25-28, which means that the Barcelona event will be the platform for discussion of many smartphones. HTC M7 is speculated to feature a 4.7-inch 1080p display, quad-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz, 2GB of RAM, a 12-megapixel camera, 32GB of on-board storage.
The next smartphone from the Taiwanese company is speculated to operate on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and feature HTC Sense 5.0. The launch on February 19 cannot be confirmed yet and there has been no invite yet from HTC regarding a new press event, so nothing can be said about the new offering from the firm.
LG and Samsung have also been rumoured to release a 5-inch screen featuring smartphone, but the date is still uncertain. HTC M7 might fit in the same category with its 4.7-inch screen. What do you think about the new offering from the Taiwanese company?
