Microsoft must be feeling the competition as it is reported to have pushed forward the unveiling date of Xbox 720
Xbox 720 release date might be more near than one can think, which can be termed as a good news for the gaming community, as reports suggest that Microsoft is looking to announce its new console in early April rather that the earlier suspected mid-June unveiling during the E3 convention. Xbox 720 specs have been constantly rumoured by various technological avenues.
With Sony already announcing the PS4, the console wars will reach a new height, if Microsoft announces Xbox 720 in early April. The Japanese conglomerate had unveiled its next-generation console in February, but did not show the design of the console. With Microsoft reportedly pushing forward the unveiling date, the Windows manufacturing firm would be looking to reveal the design of its console.
There have been many debates about which console is better and the discussions still continue. Michael Pachter, a popular name in the gaming industry, has tipped Microsoft Xbox 720 to win the console wars. Pachter stated that Xbox 720 will surge ahead of other consoles, including the Sony PS4, due to its strong social features and TV tuner.
Microsoft has reportedly patented the technology, which will make it difficult for the gaming community, to sell games to other enthusiasts. There have been many reports about Xbox 720 specs featuring a Blu-ray player, but nothing can be confirmed yet. Some speculations state that an internet connection would be a pre-requisite to play games on the Xbox.
Xbox 720 specs and price have been among persistent talks of the gaming community with recent speculations suggesting that Microsoft would utilise Skype to rival Sony’s socially aware console.
