Microsoft has decided to go back to basics by creating an all-white version of Xbox 360 fitted with a white Kinetic sensor and a matching controller.

Equipped with a 4GB console, the new toy in town appears to have racked up much enthusiasm amongst gizmo enthusiasts, especially as the new Xbox will encapsulate power, style and speed. Each unit will cost £190.

However, the new Xbox does not come without its share of criticism. Some tech analysts have pointed out flaws in the model indicating that the video game console does not live up to its ‘Family Bundle’ status because it is fitted with only one gaming console.

Gaming enthusiasts are also perplexed about why the manufacturer is reluctant to introduce a quarterly Family subscription instead of Gold subscription.

However, Microsoft seems to be aware of these complaints and has already brought in a couple of Kinect editions – Kinect Adventures and Kinect Sports – to make it more family-friendly. With multiplayer support and a glossy finish, the white edition of one of world’s most popular video games is available in leading UK stores.

Some gaming portals are also offering access to the full game along with all the updates and accessories at nominal subscription rates.
