Amazon’s Kindle Fire set’s sales figures soaring

Amazon’s newly launched Kindle Fire has broken record sales around the US capturing almost 22 percent of the entire market.

The main reason for the increased sales of the Kindle Fire is its competitive pricing as well its constant connection with Amazon’s online store through which viewers can directly download music and movies. Priced at a range of $199, the Kindle Fire is half the price of the Apple iPhone which has made it one of highest selling Tablets in just a matter of 7 months.

On account of the increased sales, the internet retailer has announced plans of a major press conference scheduled next Thursday in Santa Monica, California. A new model can be up for grabs at the press conference on account of the successful sales.

“We’re grateful to the customers who have made the Kindle Fire the most successful product launch in the history of Amazon. The Kindle Fire is sold out but we have an exciting roadmap ahead”, said Jeff Bezos, the Chief Executive Officer of Amazon Online.

With all the hype surrounding the domination of the Kindle Fire, Microsoft as well as Nokia are expected to reveal features of a Window’s 8 phone. More competition is on the line as Apple is planning to launch a miniature version of its iPhone to compete against the Kindle Fire.

“The Kindle Fire is sold out, but we have an exciting road map ahead. We will continue to offer our customers the best hardware, the best prices, the best customer services, the best cross platform interoperability, and the best content eco system”, concluded Jeff Bezos, at the end of the press conference.
