iPad 4 rumours seem to be continuing the trend that Apple iPhone 5 started, speculations about the features of the new iPad are floating in the market. Earlier, it was rumoured that Apple might introduce a mini iPad in competition to its rival Amazon Kindle Fire. The latest rumour to surface about the new iPad is that it might feature a bigger display than iPad 3.
It is rumoured that the new iPad will introduce a new aspect ratio of 16:9 which is way higher than the 4:3 aspect ratio of its existing iPad 3. The rumors are being generated by Los Angeles industry analyst Paul Mueller, who has promised more information in the coming weeks. The new iPad is also rumoured to comprise of a stylus to guide the users in navigation which might be called as the iPen.
Paul Mueller said, “I have talked to at least three people close to Apple who say that there are new iPad prototypes that have a 16:9 aspect ratio. They aren’t talking about the upcoming iPad mini either.” The rumours might contain some substance as speculated by technology experts after the release of iPhone 5 witnessed an increase in the screen size.
The new aspect ratio would mean that the new iPad would be taller and thinner which seems to be the common feature of newly released Apple devices, namely, iPhone 5, iPod Touch and iPod Nano. iPad mini is also rumoured to be released around the same time, thus instigating abundant rumours and speculations.
With most of the rumours about the iPhone 5 being true, the new iPad might feature the changes, but nothing is certain at this point of time. The certainty at this moment is that Apple needs a saviour after the debacle of iOS 6 Maps and the decrease in customer satisfaction.
