GoPro Hero 3, the new portable and mountable camera from GoPro made waves by its design and size. GoPro Hero 3 seems unrealistic and infeasible, but GoPro has made it possible. GoPro 3 Hero is offered in three editions, Black, White and Silver and is available for pre-order now.
GoPro Hero 3 makes it possible to shoot extremely difficult videos with ease. For all the Felix Baumgartner fans, this camera comes as a boon from GoPro. GoPro Hero 3 stands apart from the rest of the previous camera offerings from the same company mainly due to its specifications.
The GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition, the premiere model, features a 12MP camera that can shoot 4K video at 12 fps, or 1080p video at up to 60 fps. It also comes with a Wi-Fi remote and is price at £250. The GoPro Hero 3 camera captures images and video in real time, which makes it the most adaptable and desirable camera in the business.
Unveiling the GoPro Hero 3 in a Bentley Room in San Francisco, GoPro CEO Nick Woodman said, “Nobody had invented the world’s most versatile camera, and we were the ones to do it.” Woodman was ecstatic at the launch of GoPro Hero 3 and shouted, “Can I get a ‘hell, yeah?”
Along with the Black Edition, GoPro also introduced a £124 White Edition which houses a 5MP camera and £187 Silver Edition which comprises of a 11MP camera. Both the cameras shoot 1080p video at up to 30 fps, or 720p video at 60 fps. The GoPro Hero 3 will begin shipping from November 14.
