Google Samsung Chromebook reviews suggest that the new iteration of the Chromebook holds its fort among the consumers. Users seem to have placed their faith in Google’s ability to create a smaller size laptop or as it is known, netbook. Google Samsung Chromebook is priced at £229 ($249), which is commendable as the cost comes as a good surprise.
Google Samsung Chromebook seems to have hit the right keys with the consumers as the laptop was at the top of Amazon’s best-seller list replacing Apple’s 13-inch MacBook Air. Google and Samsung have collaborated earlier to build the Chromebook, but the laptop did not perform as expected.
Describing the Google Chromebook, senior Vice President of Chrome Sundar Pichai wrote, “For folks living entirely in the cloud, the Chromebook is now a primary computer. Many people use the Chromebook today as the perfect additional computer for their home. We worked hard to pack a lot of performance in. Because everything is hardware accelerated, it plays video very well.”
The new Samsung Chromebook features a 11.6-inch display, 2GB RAM and 1.7 GHz dual-core Samsung Exynos 5250 processor. The Google Chromebook is offered in two variants, Wi-Fi and 3G/Wi-Fi. The new Chromebook is made for a demographic who desire an extra device, but don’t expect the device to do much of the heavy-lifting like the desktop or a regular laptop.
Google Samsung Chromebook seems to have changed the perception of the consumer about small laptops, which earlier did not stand up to the expectations of the users.
