When Apple releases, it releases beyond any boundary. In addition to the release of iPhone 5, Apple also released the new iPod Touch and iPod Nano. The new iPod Touch introduces the brilliant 4-inch Retina display in the iPod section of Apple products.
iPod Touch also carries a 5 mega-pixel iSight camera with an option of 1080p high definition video recording. The iPod touch also hosts the A5 processor, Siri, the personal assistant and is operated on iOS 6, Apple’s new upgrade to its existing operating system.
The physical body of iPod Touch is created with anodized aluminium and is available in five vibrant colours. The new iPod Nano is the thinnest iPod ever comprising of a 2.5-inch Multi-Touch display. The iPod Nano hosts convenient navigation options and is available in seven different colours.
Phil Schiller, Apple’s Marketing Vice-President proclaimed that over 350 million units of the iPod have been sold till date making the iPod the most beloved music player. Pre-orders for the iPod Touch begin on September 14 through the Apple online store.
The suggested price of the new iPod Touch would be £185 ($299) for the 32GB model and £247($399) for the 64GB model. The iPod Nano will be available in October at £93($149) for a 16GB model and £30($49) for the 2GB model.
Apple also announced the new iTunes for Mac and PC featuring a completely revamped player, integration with iCloud and a jaw dropping look for the online music, applications, TV and film stores.
