UK users can watch movies on iPad, iPhone, iPod using new cloud service!

American giant Apple Inc has extended it’s iTunes in the Cloud service to include movies for the UK users to rival Amazon and Google.

The cloud service in the UK will allow users to watch iTunes movies which will be streamed live on any of their devices. No extra storage will be required since the service will be streamed live. Users can watch the movies purchased on iTunes on an iPad, iPod touch, iPhone or Mac streamed over the internet.

The Californian giant makes available for purchase high quality movies on its iTunes store by securing rights with major studios such as Universal, Paramount and Warner Bros. Since the movies will be stored on the Cloud and streamed over the internet, no extra space will be required on the iPad or iPhone.

With the move to UK, Apple gains a considerable advantage over rivals Google and Amazon. Google’s Play store for UK does not offer music, magazines or TV shows while Amazon’s cloud player is still available only in the US. Apple’s new service for the UK users is already available in the US for over a year.

The UK market has been given it’s due importance in global releases with tech giants ensuring products and services are released in the UK during global launches or within weeks of the world-wide launches.

The service offered in the UK has been extended to some other countries including Canada, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand, among 38 other countries.
