iPad mini and 4th-generation iPad at display

Apple’s event could be described more than a little show of gadgets as the technology giant unveiled iPad mini and the 4th generation iPad along with a new iMac and 13-inch MacBook Pro. Apple’s event was characterised by the traditional declaration of the achievements before the unveiling of new products.

Apple CEO, Tim Cook announced that the California company has sold 100 million iPads till date and 200 million users have upgraded to the recently released Apple’s operating system, iOS 6. Tim Cook listed the achievements of Apple in every sector, which the company operates with a difference.

Apple took a shot at 7-inch tablets in the market by comparing their size with the 7.9-inch iPad mini. Apple claimed that the size of iPad mini was better as the applications will be accessible in their original size in both landscape and portrait display. Though the iPad mini lacks retina display, it promises an experience similar to iPad.

The 4th generation iPad also made its way to the unveiling platform with an enhanced display as Apple claims it to be 1million pixels more than HDTV. The new iPad was upgraded to an A6X processor gifting it with double speed than its predecessor. iOS 6 is factory installed in the 4th-gen iPad.

Apple also introduced an iMac with a revamped display and design. The iMac was also laced with high-performance graphic equipments, thus increasing the user experience. The 13-inch MacBook Pro was unveiled with a claim of an achievement of an engineering feat in the display features. MacBook Pro display has 2million pixels more than a HDTV.

With the new releases, Apple also declared the eco-friendly attributes of the iPad mini and iPad, namely, Arsenic-free, Mercury-free, BVR-free and PVC-free. The California-based company also stated the use of recyclable Aluminium.
